correct big block core plugs - 1969

Hello,

Can anyone tell me where I can locate four ( 4 ) of the aluminum core plugs
used in early '842 aluminum cylinder heads? I have an old book that lists
GM part number 14011003 as 1-5/8 OD core plugs, but I don't know if this is
correct for the cylinder heads.

I am looking for the "correct" core plugs if possible. Several years ago I
purchased steel core plugs from Chevy for a set of BB cast iron heads, but the
heads of the plugs were noticably different than the originals.

try a electrical supply house as the have aluminum NTP plugs in large sizes.
