In drilling out the rivets to replace the Aluminum face I drilled through door in two places. Is any way I can fill the drill holes or am I SOL?

Bad boy! Guess we don't have to warn you now about being too aggressive with a free hand drill or the wisdom of using a drill stop....
You're not SOL. You can mix up some JB Weld and fill the holes. Use a front side 'stop' like masking tape to keep the epoxy from bleeding out of the holes. When the epoxy sets up (preferably just before it's rock hard, untape the front and use a tool akin to a punch to 'tap tap tap' and give the front side a texture to visually match the casting and blend the repair in. If you do this with diligence, you can make a virtually invisible fix!- Top

Re: 66 Glove door problem
Those are not rivets, but are part of the face casting. If you removed too much material and not left a sufficient "nub", then you won't be able to drill and tap for the replacement fasteners. If you are trying for "originality" then you may be out of luck, because you will probably have to cement the face back on to the door.
The fasteners are small machine screws, which can be doctored to resemble the original "rivets". They are close, but most judges can spot them a mile away.
