C1 Front Wheel Bearings

I have a 1960 that I drive on a fairly regular basis, but short drives. Thing is that over the course of a year not that many miles are put on the car. What is the time frame or mileage that most of you repack the front wheel bearings at? I always change the oil etc, every 6 months regardless of the small amount of mileage and have always wondered if I should be doing the wheel bearings on some kind of time schedule.
Any comments?

Assuming you don't drive through every mud puddle that you see, once every 5 years ought to be sufficient. How often do you repack the wheel bearings on your daily driver? Seriously, the wheel bearings don't need much attention if they are in good condition and properly adjusted. Bear in mind that the adjustment proceedure is quite different from the proceedure most folks are used to with tapered bearings.
