Can anyone tell me the correct position for the inside lock knob? Which direction does the knob point when unlocked?

Hi,

If you look at the http://www.C1Registry.com in the Magazine Article "Road Test - 1959 Corvette" from 1959 on page 3 it shows that the knobs points faced backwards (45 degrees down when unlocked and level when locked).
