65 brake line routing - body is off!

Hope you folks can help with any all of these:

SORRY, MY AIM IS KIND OF UNCLEAR WHEN YOU ADD THE PB AND AC OPTIONS!

(For my '65 with PB, AC, and "dual port" master) 1) Where does the rear brake line go? On "top" of the frame or on the inboard side of the frame? (It appears there are holes on the inboard side for clips with about a 1/4" screw, but there are the push-in type clips for the top?)

    2) And does it go under the battery bracket then turn in and up to the master?

    3) Does the forward brake line go "tight" to the steering box and inboard OR OUTBOARD (?) of the vertical frame "ear" (there is a vertical "ear" welded to the frame just forward of the battery box location, don't know what that is for actually).

    THANKS!!!

    FWIW, 67 info (similar?)

Starting from the rear T, the rear brake line bends down to a clip, then along the frame gusset, then along the lower edge of the inboard face of the frame (clipped periodically), thru the middle cross-member, bends in at the front frame kick-in, then almost immediately up. The front line then comes immediately down, picks up a clip inboard of the bracket on the frame (which is the outboard mount of the clutch linkage if I'm reading you right...) then onward under, and kinda tight outboard of the steering box and to the front T. The lines are held in place by clips that are screwed into the frame, and the rear line is covered in a coil protector - at least for its run along the frame. The rear line is below the screws, i.e. clips "up". The battery box can be installed and removed over the line - there is no interference there.

This info is from a 67 327 convert with AC and PS but STD brakes, although I suspect your application will be remarkably similar. It seems to me that it would be difficult to hand-bend a set to be "correct" without an example there to copy. Maybe you are re-installing originals or installing fresh replacements. If not, let me know if you need some e-photos. I have the rolling chassis sitting here (at least for the moment). -Karl
