1963 Z-06 Front Shocks

I'm looking for information about the front shock upper washer, on a 63 Z06. Is the washer, larger in size than the standard washer on non Z06 shocks? And would it be the same as 1965 F-40 washers. Anyone with a Z-06 need HELP!!!!

I can't find any record that any 1963 Corvette, Z-06 or otherwise, ever used the GM #3790342 to which you referred. That piece, which was used for ALL 1965 through 1982 Corvettes, Z-06 or otherwise, did exist 1963. However, it was used for some other non-Corvette application and, as far as I can tell, was not used for Corvettes until 1965.

The retainer used for 1963 Corvettes, Z-06 and otherwise, was GM #5544049. A very similar, if not identical, retainer is still available from GM under GM #25628204. This part may be finished differently (originals were zinc plated; these MAY be painted), but the configuration otherwise is very similar or the same.
