    Intake manifold stud 1961

    Is the front left intake manifold stud on a 1961 270HP a threaded stud with two nuts? One nut secures the intake manifold and the other for carburetor spring bracket.

      Need special stud that is made with hex as part of it.

          Ray, I believe this stud/nut combo also secures the expansion tank brace. Kind'a like multi-tasking...
