What I wanted to show is that the letters are definetly painted white. There seems to be some questions about wether the letters should be painted or not.

Chris In the factory young men as inspectors might have painted anything with a white paint brush in their hand( I Did). If a little white paint on a original metal tag gets a deduction if it is part of the whole radiator and tag the big picture tells me this judge is hard up for a deduction. That tag dosen't strike me as something an owner would put a little white paint on the letters to make it look better where it is located. I would give the owner the benifit of the doubt and look for bigger fish. Lyle

Charlie and I had a long talk last evening about his car and his first judging experience. Let's just say that he has learned a lot in the past week or so, both about his car and the judging experience....
