No experience at all with subject and/or quality of these tires. But this podunk Kansas boy doesn't think it will swing the value any more than the cost of the tires either way you slice it...

"Restoration" is one of those words that means different things to different people. I would imagine a NCRS buyer will find plenty of things to sneeze at if the restoration isn't per NCRS specs.

If the restoration is done correctly, incorrect reproduction tires are a simple fix and when weighted against the cost of the car are really insignificant.

I have Diamondback on my 57 and have no complaints at all.

A friend has Cooker on his 57 and cannot get them to balance.

        Emperical data.

If I were looking to buy a car I would prefer the Diamond backs, but tires alone wouldn't stop me from buying a good car.

Yes indeed Mike.. all is well. Her ebay car has been everything the owner said it was. She is very happy with it.

Thanks for the kind words. Wish I could have made it to Wildwood to harass you some more. Maybe I get to sneak over to Corvettes at Carlisle this year and check out your "split rear window" pants.

Not to disgress off topic to far, I've always understood that a Corvette buyer is better off to purchase a finished car. This begs the question why a person would restore a car with the intent of selling it?

It's pretty easy to get upside down on a restoration. If michael22104 is looking to maximize his investment return, he may be better off to sell "before" restoration.

Don't know what year of Vette we are discussing but, it would be better to sell a car now for 15K rather than sink 40K in a restoration and sell the car for 45K later.

              Sir,
I bought Diamondback classic Radials last year. Wide W/W's, beautiful tire. Only needed light balancing. You might want to be sure they put any weights on
the inside of rim. They improved the safety and handling by an easy 80%.
Sorry to hear you're selling. Tom

I've seen your tires Verle, but frankly didn't notice. The rest of the car kinda stole the show for me...

Those 57's are kinda sexy dressed in white...

                  Tracy,

Thank you for the complement, I kind-a like the car too. :-)

The Diamondbacks look good, drive well and have given no trouble.

OK to clarify, had car since 83, 67 convert with 435 motor, been restoring off/on for many years, don't like anymore, will have 70 LT-1 to play with after sale.
