I use the Eastwood hi-temp manifold paint. I think it is a good looking substitute for natural cast iron but no one will ever confuse it as looking like cast iron. Mine lasted for 3 1/2 years and I finally had to touch it up. the quart can is plenty for many touch ups.

Re: 74 radio
Tom------
Here's the PRODUCTION radio usage:
mono radios:
68 to 71------GM #7302721
72 to 73------GM #7937571
74 to 76------GM #9344651
stereo radios:
68 to 71------GM #7303211
72------------GM #7937581
73------------GM #9341341
74 to 76------GM #9344661
As far as knobs go, the 68 knobs were unique to that year and two slightly different styles were used. 1969-71 knobs were the same, although the 70-71 balance and tone inner knobs may have been slightly different.
For 72-76, I'm not certain of knob usage.
The 68-76 Corvette radios were not used for any other GM application as far as I am aware. Later year radios may have been, though. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
