1971 Alarm Horn

Here it is 5 days before the NJ regional meet and my alarm horn has decided to quit. When I tested it today it did sound once and then made a weak croaking sound and or clicking. The alarm relay is energizing it but I guess the diaphragm is bad? It's a long trumpet type mounted on the left rear fender. I've checked the usual sources with no luck. Any ideas where to get one.

I dont know where you can get one that soon. some one can restore your horn. my 71 decided to lay down the other day also

There is a remote chance that readjusting the horn will help you. the adjustment screw is located on top of the horn. Also, you might try using a good penetrating lube inside the horn. You will have to remove it and turn it upside down to accomplish this

Also check the ground between the horn and the frame. It grounds via the mounting and minor corrosion can cause no horn
