Does any one know how i can tell what the original exterior and interior of my 1978 corvette was when it was new ? I would like to return it to the original color.

It should have a trim tag that shows the codes for paint and trim. If this is missing, you'll have to look for some undisturbed place for original finish. -

The trim tags on the drivers side door pillar where the door hinges mount to the body.
There SHOULD be a tag that will tell you the build date and paint code.
