On a 67 with factory air, what is the light source for the bezel that reads "air cond pull" (upper left hand)? The other five bezels light up fine. I assumed that the light source was the "torpedo" that attaches to the clock, but I just replaced that light (whole assy) and no dice. Thanks in advance for your words of wisdom.

I was just contorting myself under the dash last night to find out why mine were't working.
There are 2 additional "torpedo" lights for AC cars mounted on the clock bracket at 3 and 9 o'clock position. If you have an assembly manual see page C60 E8. If you replaced the lamp at the upper left I am at a loss to explain why no illumination on the "air cond pull" bezel. The bezel itself has a plastic translucent back to "conduct" the light so it is possible there is something blocking the light reception at the bezel.

Re: C2 console lights
These lights can be tricky, as they ground through contact between the upturned lip on their retaining clip and the outer case of the clock; if the clock isn't installed, with both spring clips tight and the power/ground connector plugged in, the "torpedo" lamps have no ground path. The photo shows the one lamp on a non-A/C car before installing it on the tab directly below it, and the tabs at 4 o'clock and 8 o'clock are for the extra two lamps on an A/C car.
