"EK", P/N 3186906; there was no "EL" front shock (F41 shocks were "EN", P/N 3171488).

      John, Mike,

There is some disagreement here depending on who you talk to. I believe that Paragon sells the EK labels for front, mid-year standard shocks. However, another source for these labels is Ray Williams (I think he calls his company "Corvette Fanatics" or just "Fanatics"). I think I'm recalling correcctly that Ray's labels were described to me by Terry MacManmon as "spot on" or something equivalent. The labels that Ray sells for the front, standard mid-year shocks are EL labels. So clearly, these two sources have a difference of opinion about which letters are correct for the front.

        Gary -

I just took my response info from the '67 JG, as that's the standard against which the car will be judged (unless it gets changed prior to that time).

          John,

My post in response to Mike's question was to simply to confirm that there is a difference of opinion as to the letters. I don't whether the EL is correct or EK or both or neither. I wish some of the Bowtie judges would help us out here.
