    Painting Door Jambs

The body of my 66 coupe was repainted ~ 5years ago by the previous owner in correct Ermine White lacquer. However, the door edges and jambs were not repainted, and look terrible. I want to refinish them before reassembling my interior. I have sanded the area down with 400 grit, and was hoping to repaint them with a jamb gun and an airbrush. I had a pint of Ermine White urethane basecoat mixed, but it is too bright compared to rest of car. I would appreciate any hints on the primer/sealer, paint (lacquer?), and process to follow.
    Thanks!

Use lacquer. It will be the easiest to blend in.
