1958 RPO 684 Front Drums/hub

The front hubs and brake drums of my unrestored 58' Big Brake car do not want to separate from each other. Before I continue any further, can anyone tell me if this is correct or just a case of the two parts rusted together?

Justin - I really don't know of any other way to disassemble these two items. Also, I'm not able to think of anything mechnical (like rivets) that would be holding them together, unless, as you mention, rust. Don't get out the big hammer yet, maybe someone with superior knowledge will chime in. Best, Dennis

Take the hub off and heat the drum gently with a torch. Then hammer carefully to seperate
