    60 Heater control switch

I need help with the orientation of the connectors. When I pulled it apart I lost track of what was where. Three terminals, two with stab connectors and one without (I don't know if it broke off or if it's supposed to be without)
One of the terminals with the stab connector is riveted to the housing. The other two were just set in place with a loose shaft holding them in place. The riveted one is on the left.
Are all three supposed to have stab connectors?
    What is the orientation?

Larry, looking at the switch from the driver's seat, there are two connectors. the one at 12:00 is the power supply (black), and the other is at the 9:00 position . It is the output to the fan motor, via the fuse panel (14 ga brown). Whether the fan sees high or low speed is dependent on whether voltage is supplied direct or through the resistor. This is a function of the internal contacts in the switch.

Larry, here is what my 1960 switch looks like. The top spade connector(12 o'clock position) is where the heater motor wire connects. The second spade connector is at the 3 o'clock position and it is where the power wire from the wiring harness connects. I don't have a 3rd wire on mine.

          Re: 60 Heater control switch

Mine is apart, No wires. If I look at the switch from the back of the switch, or from firewall side, two connectors would make sense. The riveted connector is on the 3:00 side. I can put the other connector back at 12:00. There is a third "connector with no stab end or in other words, no place to plug a wire" that other wise is the same as the other connectors on the inside of the switch. From looking at the construction, I think it may be used only to help hold the switch parts in
place. I am sure this is an original part.

Larry, the switch has three terminals, but only two connect to wires, if that makes any sense. The two "output" terminals are joined by the external resistor and connect to a common terminal which would be at the 3:00 position looking from the firewall side.
