    66 power antenna

    I had the wrong antenna in the car when I bought it and the mounting bracket is missing. Does anyone have a digital picture that would show the bracket attached to the car for supporting the antenna base, which I believe through bolts to the splash guard behind the rear wheel? Also I would like any suggestions on where to find the correct bracket and antenna. Thanks, Jerry Nutt 31931

      check with Long Island Corvettes---they usually have such pieces. they ad in driveline. mike

          65-66 original power antenna cores appear with some regularity on ebay.They can also be found in Hemmings and Driveline 99.9% of the time they must be rebuilt. Dale Smith of OEM Glass (309) 662 2122) can do a complete and proper NCRS restoration including complete replacement of the mast. I am not aware of any reproducttion power antenna that looks like the original.

              Expensive Unit

              Be prepare to get off the hip for an outright rebuilt unit. They are about $800.00 or more.
