'57 Fresh Air Hose Specs

Can anyone give me the specs on the original type fresh air hose? These specs would include the cloth or covering material composition, coil separation distance, and any other pertinent facts or differences from the current repo hoses. thanks

Have a look in the article section on the C1Registry site. A lot of articles contain original photo's giving you a lot of clues of how things have looked like app. 50 years ago. If you click on the page images they scale up to a supersize image revealing a lot of details. It has been very helpfull to me in finding out how things should look like!

Rex, There are pictures and an explaination with regard to the fresh air hoses in the NCRS "1961-1962 Corvette Technical Information Manual & Judging Guide" which I think apply to 1957 as well.
