C-2 SB Headers

I am working on a '65 small block with side exhaust and the customer wants headers. Is there a source for direct bolt-up headers for side exhaust? Or should I just cut the side exhaust and have muffler shop put together?

Check with Summit Racing or Jeg's, both catalogs are online. I know Stahl makes them but they are overpriced. If you can't find them online call them, they have access to more parts than shown in their catalogs.

Headman makes a set to be used with the side exhaust. You will need to cut the side exhaust pipes and weld on the collector to bolt up.

Here are the Hedman headers that will work (with minor surgery) - I used them on my tube-frame Grand Sport. In 1995, they were Hedman #68280.

I've seen the block hugger headers used with sidepipes as well as undercar exhaust,you can get them painted or in chrome for under 100 bucks.Last car I saw them on had 3" tubes going back with flanges for the sidepipes and three bolt flanges and caps to open the exhaust up when he wanted.
