    C1 Exh. heat riser valve

    Curious, on the helix shaped spring on the heat riser valve. Is it a true spring or is it also bi-metallic... as it gets hot, it straightens and reduces the spring force holding the valve closed?

      Yes, it's also bi-metallic.
