    67 origin

    Dear members,

While pulling the seat out of my 67 coupe, which appeared to be the first time ever, I came across a parking lot ticket stub. It seems very old and reads Simmons Parking Corp, 25 Wm. T. Morrisey Blvd., Dorchester. I'm assuming Massachusettes. I know this car sat improperly stored in a muddy field in Riverside, CA for some 12 or so years prior to my purchase. Besides the DMV paper chase, are there other ways to determine the original Dealer? The previous owner is no longer available. It is an early 67 #6252, around Dec. 19th, 1966 Build. I have a feeling this was an East Coast car, but spent some time out here in California too. Thank for the help!

    Re: 67 origin

Justin, on a different note, I too found my 64 conv sitting unprotected in a backyard, had been there over 7 years. I would like to compare notes with you, things like how much certain areas have rusted, how much work you are faced with, etc. Please e-mail me if you have some time. 64vette@tampabay.rr.com
