Re: Ao smith 67 vs st louis 67 telltale signs
Lou,
In one word legend. However, there are a number of original paint cars that have the appearnce of a paint drip in the area of the hood surround you are refering to. I do not think it is limited to AO Smith, but more related to original paint, and I can not tell you why. I can guess that maybe on the original surround it was a raised area that was painted over and that in repaints the area gets sanded off in the stripping process. Again I think it is visible on both bodies if the paint is original.
