    C1 Trunk Floor Screws

I have a 1960 and I have a question about the screws that are on the front edge of the trunk, near the licence plate bracket, when the trunk lid is open. There are about 9 of them and they hold the panel that is part of the spare tire well.
Are these to be painted inside trunk color? I cannot find any photos showing this area, so I cannot see what others have done and there is no reference to these in the judging manual.
    Thanks!.

    Jim,
These screws should be unpainted,as this panel was not put on until after the body drop.

Can someone describe the screws. Mine are missing. What type of head? Screw size? Washers? My car is a 56.

They are a pan head phillips screw with a thread cutting shank. The ones that Paragon and others sell is right on.
