68 deck lid finishes

Can't find my JM, and about to do the rear decklid. What are the finishes of the components? Handle section, wires/cords, locks(parts at the end of wires), and are the "SEMS" bolts zinc or black. I have a spare lid here for an easy reference,And original pictures, but who knows were this things been? the under side is the body color right, and I thought the other stuff was blk?? Any immediate help is appriciated. jc

From the 68-69 JM, page 26, Interior section, #15 etc, Convertible deck lid, etc:

the underside of the deck lid is body color (not same quality); Deck lid, deck lid release levers, release cable and lock assemblies are body color. Rear bow lock assemblies, their control rods, and bumper brackets are black, rubber bumpers are natural black. That's all that's listed under that part.

I hope you find your JM, not having it is REALLY a reciepe for goofing something up. Tom #24014
