C2 Paint on underside of hood

For restoration of the underside of the hood of my 63 roadster, is the entire underside finished in black or does the body color wrap around to the underside and if so, how far does it wrap around?

I'd wrap around, but do not include the first surface you encounter that is perpendicular to the hood surface. Later today, Look for a photo (from a hood never re-painted)on www.midvette.homestead.com

Lon: It is my understanding,and I am not sure if I read this or someone told me, that the body color paint should wrap around only onto the vertical edges of the hood. I cannot at this time cite a source for this so don't accept it as gospel. Len
