    Oil fill cap

    Is the metal mesh inside my oil filler cap copper or bright metal for
    a 1962 corvette with 327/powerglide. Thanks!

      Brian,
      The correct cap will have steel mesh and the rivet will be a semi-tubular rivet.
      All of the repros I have ever seen have copper mesh and a pop rivet.
