    1962 4 speed transmission fluid & bracket

Getting ready to put original engine and transmission back in my 62 car. What is the easiest way to get the trans fluid in the tranny after it is in the car?

And does anyone have a picture of the bracket that goes on the bottom of the transmission. If not a good describtion will do. Is it flat or does it step up?
    Thanks as always

Flat, it just bridges from the mount on the tail to the location of the mount on the crossmember. As I recall, a trapezoidal shape with rounded edges and aout 1/4 inch thick

To fill the transmission, use a little plastic hand pump sold for 90 wt gear lube in most auto parts stores. Sta-Lube sells the fluid in a container which includes the pump. You can use or not use their fluid, but their pump and container work well.
