    1965 Goldline tires

    Does anyone know if the Firestone Goldline Tire in 1965 was a "Super Sport" OR "Deluxe Champion" or could it have been one or the other ?

    Did Chevrolet offer any other Goldline Tire on the 65'?

      Lane,

      I should know this but I hope someone will confirm the following:

      Firestone Super Sports or Goodyear Power Cushion are the two brand/model combinations for goldline in 65.

          The only repro tire available is the Goodyear from Kelsey Tire. It is very close to OEM. Not 100% Has DOT (as required by law) and a current date code. The DOT can disappear with careful use of a X-acto knife and a soldering iron. Be careful not to use too much heat so as not to damage the carcass
