Typical # of drain holes in C2 storage compartment

What is the typical number of drain holes in a C2 storage compartment (jack area)?

My 1963 has the two in the floor as mentioned in the judging manual (3/4 inch diameter) but behind the passenger side I also have two holes (7/8 inch and 1 inch diameter) in the outer side of the compartment.

Is this normal or abnormal?

I finally determined the reason for one side of my storage area having an "extra" hole - a nipple for the line to the air shocks that were once on the car had been located there . . . might explain the "Bubba holes" in yours.

Jack,

There should be 2 holes in bottom (horizontal surface)(one on each side) in your storage well/jacking compartment. The others that I saw towards the outer edges of the compartment were most likely drilled for air shocks. Call me at (402) 498-4326 if you have any other questions.

Also, John O. forwarded me your email regarding the repaint process on your car. I WOULD NOT put a clear coat on your car! This is not correct per NCRS judging guideline and will receive zero, (0), ziltch, nada for orgininality and zero condition points IF you were to ever have the car judged to NCRS standards.
