Chester,

Tried for 5 years to sell my custom-paint-and-lowered Beetle, and finally succeeded in 1994 after buying the Vette. The Beetle just wasn't fun after driving the Vette. Now the stupid Bugs like mine are the hottest thing around and I could get twice what I received then ($4500).

Oh well. I'd rather have the Vette any day. Better ride, better handling, more power, and TWO VIN rivets!

yea, I picked mine up for $400 at a vette shop, BEFORE the new beetle arrived..Needs some of work but it is HER project, not mine..Get my drift.. jc

Is it a Mrs.(?)chester? And if so, does she know you took the VIN tag off the Vette? Tom #24014
