      Marzio,

      To the best of my knowledge the flaw showed up after VIN 17,000, around the March, 66 time frame, if memory serves me correctly. Your covers should not have the flaw. Having said that, my VIN is 28,xxx and one of my covers has the flaw and the other doesn't. These's probably no way to convince a judge that my covers are both original, but I believe they are.
