C1 Door latches and strikers

Can anyone tell me what color the door latches and striker assemblies on a '59 should be? Exterior color, cadium, black, or ????

Oh.... ok..... I also have a 61 in the shop and it's latch and striker assemblies are painted. You gave me an answer that I hadn't expected. Now I'm wondering, are the hinges supposed to be painted, or should they be cadium plated too?

front door hinges are painted body color

Great... thanks... I hate to beat a dead horse, but are the striker spacers cadium plated also, as well as the screws?

Yes and as I posted once , the hinges , striker and spacers are the same as 55 to 57 Chevy. strikers are the same up to 64 chevy? It's the locking plates that are black , behind the spacers.
