question for officers directors jerry bramlett has anyone from the ncrs approached the nicb and requested that they donate the st louis plant corvette shipping records which they definitely possess to the ncrs or the corvette museum if no one has already done so i will drive to georgia and try it i can't think of a good reason that this information should be kept secret any longer letting a current owner know where and when his corvette was initially delivered could help someone discover the history of their car it won't tell them any past owner's name or address but it will tell them where to start looking the nicb used to give plant shipping data to any police official who phoned with a vin but they've tightened up their policy within the last year now they require a case number before they will supply a car's shipping destination how about it vinnie et al anyone been there and done that if not any club official want to go with me i'll be on my best behavior and won't embarrass the ncrs i've been told that i clean up pretty good too i suspect that no one within the nicb really has a good reason for keeping this data secret certainly they won't argue that public knowledge of year old shipping data will promote auto theft
