Wanted a C1 sun visor ready windscreen upper trim

Hi all,

I'm still looking for a sun visor upper trim for my '59-er with the needed sun visor holes (and reinforcement) like shown on the picture below (which sadely isn't mine). Please look in your garage if you have one somewhere in a forgotten corner.

how much did mary joe want for it? i think if some of these high priced parts $$$ were posted it might get someone off these parts or at least look around, after all this is what the ncrs should be about (helping fellow vetters)

Do you mean article 2224547925 ? how canI be sure this is sun visor ready one and that it will fitt my 1959-er ? It only shows 4 holes, are these the sun visor holes and if so were are the ther 4 holes to mount the trim ? Shouldn't it have 8 holes (4 for the visors and 4 for mounting) ?

Yes, there are a total of 8 screws, 4 hold the visors and 4 hold the chrome piece onto the bar that is inside the chrome. You can email the person selling it and ask to count the number of holes or send other photos. It's my guess that the holes showing in the photo are for the visors and you just can't see the other holes. Good luck.

That's why I was puzzled, I asked the guy and he is claiming it has only 4 holes in the chromed/shiny part but the holes shown on the picture doesn't match with where I would suspect the normal mounting holes but more where I would expect the visor holes... I was wondering if the trims for earlier years (53-57) might have different mounting holes and that this trim was such a version (Ray help me out here) !
