    1967 327ci pulley #s

    Dear NCRS members,

I have a 1967 with a 327ci with no a/c and no p/s. It is a 300hp with the single groove pulleys for a water pump and balancer. Does anyone know if there are #s stamped on the original pulleys and are they interchangeable with other 66-67 Chevy models that I can access from the local wrecking yard, Memory Lane.

The crank pulley used for your application was GM #3755820 and is stamped with that number. It was used on a wide array of Chevrolet applications from 1959 until 1968.

The waterpump pulley was GM #3905995. It was first used for 1967, but it was used for other 1967 applications besides Corvette. It may or may not be stamped with its part number.

Both of the above-referenced pullies are still available from GM. The GM #3755820 currently GM lists for $45.62. The GM #3905995 currently GM lists for $65.68. That may seem like a lot of money for pullies, but these can be easily purchased for at least 25% off list. Plus, they'll be brand new and not used pullies. Seeking these pullies out in a salvage yard is very do-able, but might require quite a bit of time and effort.
