    Vacuum Advance and Vacuum Gauge

Sounds like a basic question, but, is it OK to use the vacuum advance line/connection as a source of vacuum for a vacuum gauge? The gauge hose would be "tee'd" into the advance line to preserve the idle advance.

It depenmds on whether your vacuum advance line is seeing full manifold vacuum or "ported' vacuum. If it's full vacuum, there's no reason you can't tap into this line.
