I need a couple of the steel(with no rubber coating) clips that are rivetted to the body in several places, such as guiding the speedometer and hood latch cables. Long Island doesn't carry them, and insists they were never used, and although Paragon shows it in their catalog, they only have the rubber coated ones as well.

My 65 firewall clips had a rubber coating
The only clips that didn't have a coating were the headlight harness clips. I think these clips were orignal to the car. Was 65 different or do I have this wrong. Judging guide dosen't say, just says metal J clips. Mike- Top

Re: '67 NON-RUBBER COATED WIRE CLIPS
Rob,
My '67 hass a middle-of-the-production-year AO Smith body with two clips riveted to the firewall for guiding the hood release connector cable and some other wiring harness. These clips were not rubber coated but were painted during the "blackout" procedure. FWIW - Saint Louis body Corvettes and other mid-year Corvettes as well as early or late '67s may have been different. This is simply offered as one example. Have you checked the judging manual?
