Can a 67 427 fuel pump be rebuilt?

I just pulled the AC #40489 pump off of my car and it needs a rebuild or replacement. The stamp is in the upper part of the casting. I just bought an NOS 40489 with the stamp in the lower part of the pump. Does anyone rebuild these pumps, and if so, how much? Both pumps have the AC logo. Is the old pump worth anything.
    Thank you
    Jon

i tried to rebuild a crimped-can ac fuel pump years ago without success. re-crimping the can the problem as its got to be perfect in order to seal. 67 ac pumps easier to find than the 65 and 66 bb pumps. wouldn't toss the old pump. somebody someday has to come up with a crimping tool like ac used. mike
