re what does f x tire convert to joe lucia a r is the current radial tire size which most closely duplicates the f in most dimensions variously i have seen r or r recommended as modern day replacements for the f however the dimensions of these sizes do not compare as closely as the r on my i use r these tires have a diameter that very closely duplicates the f they have a wider section width and much wider tread there is absolutely no wheel well interference in any driving configuration i use goodyear eagle sts as they look a little more like the original f tire configuration than other models these tires perform very well in all around street driving they are not the tire to use if you want to really push the car though

re what does f x tire convert to dick whittington terry mcmanmon the teamleader did extensive research on this as to what tires would get partial credit on the judging field his research indicated that the goodyear eagle st r was the closest thing in current tires by an oem manufacturer for if you are not worried about judging the r is a good replacement size
