I just realized recently that all the fiber optic cables for my front lights have been cut on my 1969 coupe. Is it possible to perform an adequate repair or should a replacement be considered. In both cases can someone direct me to a supplier of splices and/or cables? Thanks, Art ives

Re: C3 fiber optic repairs
A single edge razor blade, q'tip, rubbing alcohol, and a small piece of heat shrink tubing will make you a repair kit. Take the cable, cut the break SQUARE, use the q-tip and wash the cuts with alcohol until the q-tip gets nothing off, slide the heat shrink over the joint, hold the ends together tightly while someone heats the heat shrink until it is shrinks around the splice and then cools. You should have an acceptable splice. (this will not work on telephone cables)Dick Whittington- Top
