'64 heater blower fan

    '64 heater blower fan

    is there a trick to taking the fan off of the heater blower motor? I can take the nut of easily, but the fan won't budge. There appears to be an alluminum bell over the shaft and resting against the fan, but I can't remove it (with or without the fan). What am I missing? Thanks.

      It comes off, with diligence. Has tight interference fit to prevent spin on shaft. Backstop fan and tap/press gently on shaft and it should let go....
