    C2 '67 vent window removal

With respect to removal of my '67 vent window chrome trim assembly, take a guess, please.

Can a reasonably adroit back-yard mechanic like me successfully remove the vent window chrome trim assembly (for re-chroming purposes) without screwing it up? And are there any special tools or "lessons-learned" that I could apply in this case?

    Thanks.

      Tom,
A convertible is a little easier than a coupe. I assume convertible since you want to rechrome the pot metal. Bill Sangrey did an artical a while back in the Restorer. I can't remember if it was a coupe or convertible. Task is not difficult just follow the manual and take your time. I always remove side glass as not to scratch it.
