What is the trick for installing rear strut rods. I attached it to the frame first, then tried jacking the rear axle for spring compression to align the holes for bolt placement, but can't even get close. Nothing appears bent. Right now, I have a bare fiberglass body resting on a almost completely restored frame. Do I need to unhook the spring? Thanks for your thoughts! Ron 61 project

I did my about 6 months ago and had the same problem... Even had a friend, (that weights around 350 lbs.), sit on the back part of the frame with no luck.... So I removed the spring... If I remember correctly... still had to fight with it a little but in finally it bolted up!!!! -
