Does anyone know (I'm sure someone does) if R44XLS6 (note the 6 at the end, I'm not sure what that means) AC spark plugs will perform properly in my 67 427-390 hp engine? I had put a set of R43XLS in a few weeks ago and they are too cold for street operation. Thanks in advance for your help and Happy Thanksgiving to all. God Bless America. Rex NCRS #8089

R44XLS6 the 6 means .060 gap too big for you car. just get R-45 XLS for street driving and gap to .035 -

you may weaken the spot weld of the ground electrode to the shell if you do that and if the ground electrode come off in the cylinder it could cause a lot of damage.Comment
