    AC spark plugs

Does anyone know (I'm sure someone does) if R44XLS6 (note the 6 at the end, I'm not sure what that means) AC spark plugs will perform properly in my 67 427-390 hp engine? I had put a set of R43XLS in a few weeks ago and they are too cold for street operation. Thanks in advance for your help and Happy Thanksgiving to all. God Bless America. Rex NCRS #8089

R44XLS6 the 6 means .060 gap too big for you car. just get R-45 XLS for street driving and gap to .035

Could the XLS6's not be gapped to .035? Thanks, Rex

you may weaken the spot weld of the ground electrode to the shell if you do that and if the ground electrode come off in the cylinder it could cause a lot of damage.
