    C2 (327/340)3461 Choke

At approximately what choke housing temperature should the choke valve be virtually closed? ( The wrong cap is on the car (cw = lean), but Im trying to use it anyway.) Ive tried setting it so the choke is almost closed for several different temps around 60 degrees, but then it doesn't quite open all the way when hot(housing at 280). ((by the way, the vacuum piston circuit is fine but Im starting to question about the thermostatic spring))

Change the thermo spring, the choke on a cold engine should fully close even on an 80 degree day.
