1957 radiator tag

FOR A 1957 Corvette-

Does the RADIATOR tag go (welded on) in the middle of the upper tank, facing the engine?

Does it get centered between the WATER INLET and the left edge of the tank? (facing forward from the driver's side)

Well, if my 55 is the same...

It is SOLDERED to the middle of the upper tank, facing the engine.

The radiator tag on my 57 has the tag sodered near the middle of the top tank facing the engine.

Both my 57s and my 55 and my 56 are just like Verl describes. mike

My 55 is also the same as Mike's but it also has a little tag soldered next to it with a V stamped in it . ??? Original Radiator.
