    Who does the NCRS 'artwork'?

Many NCRS publications and such have what appears to be hand drawn outline sketches of various Corvettes - it's not that far from what a cartoonist in some ways do in that it's a B&W outline but it's DEFINATELY meant to be accurate as opposed to caricaturized of course. It's very nicely done stuff I think. The artist's name doesn't seem to appear or I can't make it out (one sample I have says "tom"(?) in tiny letters).

Is this a volunteer members's efforts or a professional retained by NCRS or ?

I know Dana Forrester and Tom Anjiras did the art work for the spec guide 68-82

Thanks Bob. I also received an off-line email mentioning Tom Anjiras as well. I really do like the outline sketches on the judging manuals as well as the artwork appearing elsewhere like the spec guide. Very nice professional touch!

I might suggest (unless I simply missed it) future copies provide a credit for this great work say on the inside cover - especially if it's provided gratis and the artist(s) are amenable.

Tom is a great old friend of mine. He has loads of talent in graphic communications, both 2D and 3D. Over the years he always provided sage advice. He even helped me work on my 1963 when we were "neighbors". And coincidentally there are pictures of him doing same right here.

          Talented Helpers and Fiberglass Underside

Oh so he's your secret weapon doing all those dirty jobs! Just kidding of course - Great shots - By the way I like that idea of shooting the cleaned natural fiberglass w/ clear satin - probably helps keep it clean or makes it easier to clean when washing or whatever. In fact I didn't realize it could come out that white - always thought it was a bit grayer. I'm definately keeping that idea in mind for my early C3 should the opportunity present itself.

          Thanks again,

And if you care to, by all means mention to Tom the appreciation for his drawings for me and I'm sure a ton of fellow annonymous members.
