    65-67 wheel hubs

I have a spun bearing on a 65 Corvette with disc brakes. The new race will no longer seat in the hub. What is the interchangability of the hubs? Will a drum brake hub work and/or is there any pasenger car hub that will work. It seems to me that the larger bearings started in about 68 and will not fit the 65-67 spindle is that correct. I understand that there are no replacement hubs available is the also correct?
    Thanks
    Tim

    Re: 65-67 wheel hubs

    Tim-----

A drum brake hub will not work with the 65-67. Once-upon-a-time the 63-64 drum brake hubs were available from GM. However, the disc brake hubs were never available seperately---they were supplied only with the rotor assembly. I don't know if there are any passenger car hubs that will work, or not. I suspect not.

Any 65-68 Corvette rotor and/or hub will interchange. The larger size spindles and bearings came into use for the 1969 model year.
