Am considering a welded aluminized exhaust system from Allens Exhaust or Corvette Central. Has anyone used either companies system and has any thoughts which might be the best fit? Thanks in advance. Mike #28614

Re: '63 Exhaust System Supplier
Michael,
Don't see many responses to your question. Maybe people don't want to step on someones toes but-------here goes.
I have had many dealings with Allens Stainless Exhaust and I must say they have been successful. Not every dealing was perfect but Mike Allen does what he says and says what he does. He has fixed anything the customer has requested with no questions asked. He stands behind his work 100% of the time on every order that is placed by a customer or dealer.
Trust Mike Allen at Allens Stainless Exhaust to do it right or get it right everytime.
That's my two cents for the evening!

Thanks for your 2 cents JR and for "being brave". It sometimes takes people like your self that can make a difference when venturing into areas one hasn't been before. Should there any others who might help formulate my opinion would be greatly appreciated. Mike #28614- Top

Re: '63 Exhaust System Supplier
Mike:
I bought an off-road system for my '65 from Allen's last year. It fit perfectly. Once the old junk was removed, installation took less than an hour. I'm really happy with the fit and quality of Allen's products.
I asked around about exhaust vendors, and Allen's won hands down. Also, the off-road system has a nice rumble without aggravating the neighbors. Actually, it sounds just like my buddies' new '63 and '64 Corvetts did when they were brand new.

Re: '63 Exhaust System Supplier
Sounds like Allen's may finally have enough experience to get it right. I had one experience with them which was bad, so I've NOT been back for more. System didn't fit and they would not correct. I buy from East Tennessee Corvette. Jack Horner will make it fit. He has even been to my house to personally correctroblem.- Top
